Dog food for allergy sufferers – what’s behind it?

Many dogs suffer from food allergies or intolerances: skin problems, itching, ear infections, or digestive issues are common symptoms. But what does it mean when a food is listed as... hypoallergen or allergy-friendly is it being advertised?

A good hypoallergenic pet food avoids known allergens – both in the protein sources and in the grains and additives. Instead of many different ingredients, ideal recipes rely on... Limited protein sources (e.g., duck, venison, fish, rabbit), avoid corn, wheat, soy, or even grains altogether, and exclude artificial colors, flavors, and preservatives. This significantly reduces the risk of an allergic reaction.

Itching, skin problems, or digestive issues can be signs of a food allergy or intolerance. For affected dogs, a special diet that avoids potential allergens is essential. Our hypoallergenic dog food was developed precisely for this challenge. It's based on single-protein recipes and contains only one selected protein source, such as horse, lamb, or venison. This makes it easy to identify which ingredients your dog reacts to and avoid them in the future.
