Chewing root from tree heath – Natural, robust and dental care
The Wildfang® chew root made from tree heath is a particularly robust and durable natural toy for dogs. It consists of 100% genuine, kiln-dried tree heath wood from the EU, which is debarked, sanded, rounded at the ends, and carefully cleaned by hand. The root is splinter-free, vegan, and completely untreated – without chemicals or artificial additives.
Thanks to its natural hardness, the chew root provides long-lasting chewing fun and is ideal for satisfying your dog's natural chewing instinct. It supports dental hygiene, removes plaque, massages the gums, and strengthens the jaw muscles. Thus, it actively contributes to healthy teeth, healthy gums, and greater relaxation.
The chew root is suitable for both adult dogs and puppies. Especially during teething, it can help satisfy the urge to chew and protect furniture and other objects.
Size recommendation
| Size | Recommended dog weight | Average weight of the chewing root |

| XL | 45 – 60 kg | approx. 501 – 750 g |

Chewing root is a good alternative to bones. Fast delivery, I'm satisfied.
Loved!!!!!
Ordered again immediately!!!!
My dog doesn't need to go to a therapist just because his teeth are rattling.🤣🤣…
Fast delivery. Product as described.
My dog doesn't eat the root very often, but it's still a good alternative and is good for chewing off tartar.
Our 5-month-old miniature Australian Shepherd is terrified of the coffee tree chew stick, and he runs frantically against the closed door when he tries to chew on the grapevine root piece. Who came up with the idea of traumatizing puppies with such rattling toys? We're now at a dog therapist so our Bruno can chew on his toys normally again. What a misguided, eco-friendly approach! Dogs are carnivores, that's a fact!
Our puppy loves the chew root. It doesn't fray and provides long-lasting chewing fun!
However, in my experience, with very biting dogs, pieces may break off or be swallowed.
The solution for me was to soak it in water for 2 hours; then it becomes like rubber.
I needed something natural for my young dog to chew on, but I wanted something with as few calories as possible, since our dog trainer had warned us against overfeeding him with treats, chew sticks, and the like. Just like us humans, many pets are unhealthily overweight. The little guy absolutely loves it; he's already finished teething.Since he loved the single root so much, I bought the set of three - almost a little too big for my Havanese mix, but it is the smallest size available.
My dog won't eat it, and the postage costs are too high. I'm too late to order.
My dog (5 months old) loves the chew root. It seems very good and sturdy, and shipping was fast. Whenever he's teething and wants to chew on my finger, I offer him this.
The chewing root is attached and readily accepted.
I can absolutely recommend chewing root.
